I visited Burwood Tennis Club with Shadow Minister for Sport, Sam Groth, on the 14th of September, consulting with members of the club about acquiring grants for much needed improvements.
In Parliament I asked the Minister for Sport, Steve Dimopoulos, to provide a grant in the order of $50,000 to the Burwood Tennis Club to replace their old halide light systems with modern, low-energy lights that give higher light capacity and lower energy use, providing security into the future.
