The Monash Council is proposing to turn the beautiful Oakleigh Golf Course into a regional park with no guarantee the park won’t be sold for development after 5 years.

The Oakleigh Golf Course is one of a few nine-hole golf courses in the south-eastern suburbs and with its beautiful views and impressive fairways, the course offers a great play for golfers at every skill-level.

The City of Monash already has numerous parklands, walking tracks & open spaces that cater to local and surrounding communities.

Turning this beautiful golf course into a regional park will affect the area & nearby properties and will destroy our community’s liveability and amenity by creating an unsafe and noisy environment.
