Financier. Born 3 August 1848, Richmond. Son of Henry Miller and Eliza Mattinson. Married 1877 to Mary Elizabeth Darlot, two sons. Deceased 26 September 1932. Church of England.
Educated privately and at Melbourne Church of England Grammar School; took up a business career and was associated with financial, pastoral and mining interests; director and chairman Bank of Victoria and Victorian Insurance Co.; part-owner Rocklands Station, Camooweal, Queensland; chairman Victorian Goldmining Association, Queensland, and Bioneer Tin-mining Co. of Tasmania.
MLC for South Yarra June 1893-May 1904, MLC for East Yarra June 1904-January 1913.
