While the current restrictions associated the COVID-19 health emergency, especially for those aged over seventy and those over sixty with underlying health conditions, mean disruption and challenges to the way many of us go about our daily lives, social isolation provides opportunities to do things we might otherwise not find the time for.
As Shadow Minister for the Arts, I am delighted at the growing and quite extensive arts offerings available online and for free, which include the following:
National Gallery of Victoria

Arts Centre Melbourne
https://www.artscentremelbourne.com.au/community/content-hub
Melbourne Symphony Orchestra

Australian Centre for the Moving Image

Victorian Opera

Australian Ballet

Most of these sites are being updated regularly, so you may want to add them to your internet browser favourites to facilitate keeping up to date with new offerings. With time on our hands, I believe engaging with the arts is time well spent.
